Mining & Node Guide: Extraction Rates
Exactly how much each miner and extractor pulls, by node purity, from the official game data. Two numbers drive everything: the miner tier and the node's purity.
Extraction rate by purity (100% clock)
| Extractor | Impure | Normal | Pure |
|---|---|---|---|
| Miner Mk.1 | 30 | 60 | 120 |
| Miner Mk.2 | 60 | 120 | 240 |
| Miner Mk.3 | 120 | 240 | 480 |
| Oil Extractor | 60 | 120 | 240 |
| Resource Well Extractor | 30 | 60 | 120 |
Solid miners in items/min, fluid extractors in m³/min. Resource Well Extractor is per satellite node.
How the numbers work
- Purity multiplies the base rate: impure ×0.5, normal ×1, pure ×2.
- Miner tier doubles then quadruples: Mk.1 → Mk.2 → Mk.3.
- Clock speed scales linearly on top, up to 250% with Power Shards.
Watch your belts
A single Mk.3 on a pure node at high clock can out-pace a Mk.5 belt (780/min), so check belt throughput before maxing the clock — or split the output across two belts. Work out the exact rate for any miner, purity, and clock, and how many extractors a target needs, in the miner calculator. Then plan the factory it feeds with the production calculator.
