Satisfactory Somersloop Calculator

SomersloopAmplificationPowerProduction

Somersloops amplify a building's output without using more ingredients — at a steep power cost. Pick a building and how many slots you fill to see the exact output multiplier and power draw.

Packagers, miners, and fluid extractors cannot be amplified.

How production amplification works

Each Somersloop you insert raises output by an equal share of the building's slots, up to double output when every slot is filled. The catch is power: consumption scales with the square of the output multiplier, so doubling output quadruples power. Because of that, amplified buildings are usually run at 100% clock or underclocked to keep the power bill sane. Somersloops are best spent on your most expensive, lowest-volume parts — where the input savings are worth the power.

Amplification stacks multiplicatively with overclocking; plan the power for the result with the power calculator, and the production chain with the production calculator.
