Satisfactory Fuel Generator Calculator
Running short on power? A single Fuel Generator in Satisfactory puts out 150 MW — but how many do you really need, and how much fuel and water will they drink?
This fuel generator calculator answers it instantly. Pick Coal, Fuel, Nuclear, or Biomass, set the megawatts you need, and it returns the exact generator count, fuel per minute, and water per minute — all from the official Satisfactory game data, so you stop guessing and stop overbuilding your power plant.
One Fuel-Powered Generator produces 250 MW and burns 20.00 Fuelm³/min.

Choosing a power source
Early game runs on Biomass Burners and then Coal Generators — coal is simple and only needs water. Fuel and Turbofuel Generators pack far more power per building once you have oil processing, and need no water. Nuclear Power Plants are the late-game workhorse at 2500 MW each, but they consume 240 m³ of water per minute and produce radioactive waste you must store or reprocess.
Fuel rates here are derived directly from each generator's rated power and the fuel's energy value (power ÷ energy × 60), and water from the game's water-to-power ratio — the same numbers the game uses. To plan the refinery chain that feeds these generators, use the production calculator, and size the consuming factory with the power calculator.
